High street lust #55.

One Sunday night I visited Topshop.com to search for something when I came upon the knitted aran cardigan (£48). Despite its pricetag it was love at first sight. I was all over its chunky cable knit beige-ness. On Monday I returned to the website to buy my beloved but it had practically sold out. I eventually went instore to buy one and came out with one three sizes too big (small sizes all sold out!). I like it that much. Kinda hoping they'll do a second run.

Topshop haven't been wowing me too much this year but their autumn collection is fantastique! Slip on a Peter Pan collar tunic (£28) and tuck it into a pair of leopard printed skinny jeans (£45). Top off with fur cossack hat (£20) and lip glaze in Moondust (£6). I think it all goes together, don't you? Some fur lined moccassins (£28) keep your toes comfy whilst the bear ring (£10) and square stone ring (£12.50) are just cool. Also digging the small leather pattern bag (£35) and that's my autumnal uniform. I really really hope other highstreet stores catch onto this chunky cardigan thing.

High street lust #48.

Around Christmas time, I put the Albert fringe lace up boots (£68) on my wishlist (albeit in a different colour) and I'm quite happy they are still in stock. Yet, I cannot decide whether I deserve to buy them or not.

During the warmer months, I could wear them with a bleached denim shirt (£30), perhaps cropped, and turn up city shorts (£30) with bare legs. A polka dot corsage headband (£8) and a 2 layer ring (£12) give a touch of femininity. I also love the ribbon chain rope necklace (£20), the pink tones give it a nice summer feeling. In winter, I could don a pair of cute heart button knee socks (£7) and a linen trilby (£22). Grab a square leather satchel (£60) and I have the archaelogist look down perfectly.

High street lust #34.

Parisienne chic has always been a favoured look of mine, so the new Topshop collection has me head over heels! I also adore their new Meadow collection featuring florals, lace and embroidery. It's all my favourite things this spring! My favourite piece is probably the flute one shoulder dress. So ethereal, right?

For this outfit, I'm imagining trotting around Florence after a light sprinkling of rain. Brave the cold afternoon and go without a jacket, just put on some pretty Emilio Cavalini lace tights (£8) and a pale grey cobweb snood (£16). Look pretty with the secret platform shoes (£65), some adorable teapot and cutlery earrings (£5), a lace corsage headband (£8) and a sweet flower chain band ring (£4). Throw your guidebook and your camera into a bow eyelet bag (£35) and remember to pick up the long frill dot umbrella (£22) before you leave the hotel room.

High street lust #14.

There actually isn't much that I am lusting over this week! I am however, very smitten by nightwear and loungewear at the current moment. I tried to create a nice lust set but it was rather difficult this weekend since stores have a limited amount of nightwear or the shops that do, don't have very good images. Don't you find this fairy garden vest and shorts set (£18) so cute though?

The weather has turned much colder this week. Snuggle up in a premium pintuck bed jacket (£22) and slip your feet into some ellis quilted booties (£15). If that doesn't help, pull on some knee high socks and/or chunky legwarmers (£8). Stay cute with a bow on alice band (£8). If you are going to a sleepover, pack your goodies into a large quilt vanity case (£40) and store your delicates in a sweet floral lingerie bag (£6). You'll be the chicest girl there!

High street lust #8.

Sorry about this lame collage. They are actually pretty hard to make. Anyway, I really cannot decide whether to buy this lace vintage blouse or not! Not sure if it's worth £40 but it's 100% silk apparently. Somehow it's machine washable?

In a funny way, I am totally buzzing off the suede skinny trousers (£90)! To keep the outfit sweet, I'd wear some massive bird stamp earrings (£60) and studded mary janes (£70) with a leather tassel detail clutch (£38).

Not sure if over-accessorising works here, but you could add a linked enamel bangle (£9), a wrapped leaf ring (£5) or a gold sequin headband (£5). For extra eye candy, a suede fringe gilet (£50) or wing sequin jacket (£120) is sure to do the trick!

Marianne + Manhattan Dolls.

Last night after work I went shopping for my friend's birthday present. Okay okay, I also saw an amazing coat online at Topshop and I wanted to get that too but they didn't have it in stock. Not even in the Debenhams or Selfridges concessions. Anyway, I stumbled upon Topshop's A/W 2009 collection. It's not my style at all but I loooove it! It's called 'Marianne'. It's glamourous boho rock chick with velvet, leather, suede, sequins and metallics galore. Divine!

'Manhattan Dolls' is also an amazing collection with similar features. The sequins, draping fabrics and exaggerated shapes thrill me and seduce me. I'm not much of a trend person but I do appreciate well executed collections.

I admit it, sometimes I really really like Topshop. Am totally loving these KRUZ-leather lace up shoes. They aren't too girly but they aren't terribly masculine either. £50 is fairly decent for a leather shoe and look at that stud detailing!

Combine with a
denim pocket tunic and a patent butterfly crossbody bag. Accessorise with a chain mail headband, silver interlinked engraved bangle, a premium mesh umbrella (for those rainy summer days) and some plastic aviators. That comes to £117, so it's a total of £167 for this outfit. I'd recommend some grey knee high socks too.
